One of Los Angeles’ premiere theaters for new play development is looking for 20 emerging artists.
Discover how to direct, design, produce and perform in the next great American plays. You will receive professional training by world-renowned theater artists. You will engage with celebrated veterans of the stage and screen. And you will develop into an ensemble – working together as a company of up-and- coming theater makers.
YOU MAY APPLY FOR ONE OF TWO TRACKS:
ARTISTIC (ACTORS, DIRECTORS, AND PLAYWRIGHTS)
PRODUCTION (DESIGNERS, TECHNICIANS, STAGE MANAGERS, THEATER MANAGERS & ADMINISTRATORS)
AUDITIONS/INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD:
9AM - 2PM February 12th & February 13th

THE EST/LA AFFILIATES COMPANY will be active in two sessions, from March through June, 2011 and from mid-August through mid-December, 2011. Members will be involved in EST-LA readings, workshops, and productions, as well as in EST/LA Affiliates Company –specific projects. Members will also participate in monthly weekend training seminars, taught by theater professionals specific to their fields, like: Gates McFadden, Nicholas Kazan, James Eckhouse, Jennifer Maisel, Jenny O’Hara, Tim Wright, Jen Kays, Camille Shenkkan, Soctt Paulin, Keliher Walsh, Tom Jacobson, Jennifer Skinner, Rod Menzies, Keith Bolden, Dan Bonnell, Tom Baum, Laura Flanagan, Rebecca Cohn, and Sarah Malkin, among others. Members will be required to assist with administrative and production activities.
